Nicola joins Pāua Wealth Management with 16 years of financial services experience. Originally from London, Nicola started her career in mergers & acquisitions advisory at ABN Amro before managing investor relations for a fund at Barclays Capital. She has also held roles in corporate banking and raised debt and equity finance for a rapidly growing New Zealand fintech. 

Prior to joining Pāua Wealth, Nicola led foreign direct investment for the British Consulate in Auckland, focused on institutions and founders of high-growth venture-backed companies.

Nicola holds a Masters in Engineering from the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom.

She lives on a beef farm in rural South Auckland with her husband and three children, where she has planted around one thousand trees. Her weekends are often spent fixing troughs or fences, if not planting more trees!  Her favourite place is in the Bay of Plenty and she keeps fit bush walking and hill running.
